Transforming Pain, Doubt, Judgment To Enable Your Healing Process

Your mind is extraordinarily flexible and can learn what you teach it. That’s the basis for retraining yourself to reduce pain, increase energy, improve mood, and enhance function if you’ve got fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, or autoimmune disease.

One of the self-healing superpowers that we train in Movement Toward Health is compassionate, nonjudgmental, discerning awareness. It’s a mouthful, I know, so let’s just call it “compassionate presence” or mindfulness. It is a transformative way of relating to physical or emotional pain, or just the challenges and difficulties of our stressful lives.

Compassionate presence helps you dissolve mind-body patterns that worsen pain, negative emotions, muscle tension, and suffering in general. So you develop greater freedom of choice about how to live, feel, and be.
