Tips to avoid Chronic Pain

Do you ever wonder why you experience pain after seemingly simple activities?

You might be unknowingly making some everyday mistakes that can lead to long-term pain.

Today, we’re counting down the first 5 of these 10 mistakes in Part 1 of our series!

Mistake 1: Sitting for long hours with bad posture 🪑

Sitting hunched over your desk all day can wreak havoc on your spine. Make sure to maintain good posture with a straight back and relaxed shoulders.

Mistake 2: Text neck

We’ve all been there – glued to our phones with our necks bent forward for hours. This can strain your neck muscles and lead to pain. Try to hold your phone at eye level and take breaks to stretch your neck.

Mistake 3: Exercising with improper form ️‍♀️

Exercising is great, but doing it with bad form can cause injuries. Ouch! Make sure you learn the proper technique for each exercise or consult a certified trainer.

Mistake 4: Dehydration

Dehydration can tighten your muscles and lead to pain. Make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially before, during, and after exercise.

Mistake 5: Uneven weight distribution while standing ⚖️

Standing for long periods with all your weight on one leg can cause pain in your hips and back. Try to distribute your weight evenly on both legs and shift your weight from time to time.
