Tips for Managing Chronic Back Pain

1. Stay active: Exercise can help reduce pain and stiffness in your back, as well as improve strength and flexibility. Try low-impact activities like walking, swimming or yoga to stay active without straining your back.

2. Practice good posture: Poor posture can lead to muscle strain that causes chronic back pain. Take breaks throughout the day to stand up straight and stretch out any tension in your back muscles.

3. Use hot/cold therapy: Applying heat or cold to sore areas of the back may help relieve discomfort temporarily. You can purchase a heating pad or use a bag of ice wrapped in a towel for this purpose, but be sure not to overdo it on either one!
