The REAL Mystery of the Chronic Pain

Do you know what the real mystery of chronic pain is?
How many lightbulbs do you have to change before you realize your lightbulb isn’t the problem?
What’s your score? Each one you’ve tried with little success is worth one point:
💡Physical therapy
💡 Chiro
💡 medications
💡 injections
💡 surgery
💡 massage
💡creams, patches, TENs
💡weight loss
💡Restrictive diets
💡 Joining a cult (only joking)

The reason these things all feel like a bandaid only offering temporary relief is they don’t get to the root cause of the pain.

You can keep trying to change the lightbulb over & over but you won’t find lasting relief until you address the issue in your electrical wiring (your nervous system).

Here are some signs your nervous system is to blame for your persistent pain:
⚡️Pain that’s unpredictable, at times spontaneous
⚡️Pain that’s disproportionate to the extent of injury
⚡️Pain that travels & spreads
⚡️Pain that responds to changes in weather
⚡️Pain that responds to changes in stress
⚡️Pain that’s unresponsive to traditional treatment methods

Does this 👆🏼sound like you?

If you’re nodding your head, then it’s time to learn what role the nervous system plays in the pain experience AND start implementing some nervous system calming drills for more effective pain management.
