SPG Blocks: Gene Finds Relief For 20 years of Severe Chronic Headacese

Gene has suffered from severe chronic headache pain for over 20 years. He traveled from Indiana to Chicago to see Dr Shapira.

Dr Shapira initially utilzied Travell Spray and Stretch technique to turn off Gene’s referred Myofascial Pain.

Dr Janet Travell was President Kennedy’s personal physician. Jaqueline Kennedy was so thankful to Dr Travell that she built the Rose Garden in her honor. Dr Travell loved roses. Dr Shapira was a student of Dr Travell.

Dr Shapira also utilized Sphenopalatine Ganglion Blocks on Gene. Even though the pain was already gone the SPG Blocks made Gene feel even better.

Even though this was his very first visit Gene left feeling better than he had in at least 6 months. More important he now knows how to utilize both of these techniques at home.

Dr Shapira is a leading proponent of Self-Administered Sphenopalatine Ganglion (SPG) Blocks. He has a recent paper published in May 2019 in CRANIO Journal and has lectured around the world on them.
