I try to get all my patients with chronic low back pain or sciatica to meditate.

Mainly because stress is such a huge factor in chronic pain!

If we are just constantly stressed out and can’t turn the “fight or flight” switch off, what do you think this does to the human body?

It just leads to more tension and pain in the low back. It makes sciatica worse.

You’ve got to learn to unwind and relax.
