Making Sense of Normal Tests- Chronic Pain

Do you have patients who report significant levels of pain but their tests are coming back ‘normal’ and not showing an explanation for this? This can be confusing for us as clinicians but also very distressing and frustrating for patients, making them feel their pain isn’t taken seriously or that we’ll suggest it may be ‘all in their head’.

In this video, I’m going to share how I explain normal investigations to patients with chronic pain in 2 easy steps, so that you can help your patients make more sense of this, helping them move forward.
