While I was struggling with chronic pain, I kept having these very strange interactions with doctors 🤷🏻♀️
We would talk about what the body was doing but never how I was feeling, what I was eating, or what I was thinking
It was as if this body was entirely separate from me!
It just made no sense to me
Super especially with the symptoms I experienced
Some specialists were quick to suggest it was all in my head, but we never examined what was in my head 🤦🏻♀️
Why weren’t they treating all of me?
Because that’s not how Western medicine works🥸
We can trace the separation of the mind, consciousness, emotions and psychological processes from the body back to Rene Descartes
I’ve been researching why so many of us are failed by our medical industry
And learning why it took something 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 different to heal me
Reconnecting all of me is healing all of me 🙏🏻✨
