HAE had an adverse reaction to the Sympathetic Lumbar Injections?

Has anyone else experienced adverse effects from the blocks? I know they help some people but i’ve had a very hard time since receiving one, here’s the gist: I had my first injection a month ago, and the day of the injection developed a tension headache. That headache escalated into both a migraine AND a classic spinal headache. Was in and out of the ER for meds, and they finally did a spinal patch. The patch took away half of the pain in my head within two hours, the Stadol calmed the rest. However, every single day since the injection (we’re on day 32 now) I have had a pressure headache with sharp pains! I coincidentally also have a soft tissue/scar tissue injury on my spine that is painful and full of fluid from the blood patch (that is being investigated as malpractice, it was awful and a mess). My doc’s at a loss about the headaches, and my quality of life has decreased EVEN MORE! He suggested magnesium. Love that /s. I never had a history of headaches before that injection, and now I can’t get rid of them. Motrin/tylenol keeps them under control, but if I don’t take it every 8 hours, they escalate. I just want answers or someone to help me, it’s too much with the CRPS and trying to focus on that.

TL;DR: Sympathetic lumbar injection left me with chronic headaches/migraines and a sensitive/painful knot on spine. Not sure if they’re related but I feel like they are. Not sure what to do or if this has happened to anyone else.
