If we look at the non-clinical population, epidemiology studies have shown that when we’re looking at persistent pain, we’re looking across headache, abdominal pain, back pain, MSK pain, and on average, we’re looking about 21% of young people who are affected by persistent pain. ⁠⁠Therefore, it is important for us to be aware of how to assess and manage children in pain, keeping in mind their age.
