If you would like to gain a better understanding about the pain that is associated with arthritis, and how to best manage it, this is the interview for you! CAM was honoured to host the highly-respected Dr Louise Clark again. Previously she has spoken at length about the multimodal approach to managing arthritis ( On this occasion she methodically guides us through:
– how chronic pain is different to acute pain
– why chronic pain is harder to identify
– the mechanisms through which chronic pain becomes established
– how medications commonly used to manage arthritis related pain work

Thank you to Animalcare for supporting owners of arthritic dogs in pain management through sponsoring this live interview.

Louise is a European and RCVS recognised Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia and a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (FRCVS).
