Hi everyone, I’m new to this community and I’ve had a CRPS diagnosis for about a year now, but I probably developed it in 2014. I’m highly functional and fairly active (compared to others I suppose) but the loss of my identity as an adventurous, hardcore outdoorswoman has been heartbreaking.
I’m in with an amazing PT team who is so supportive and has made an enormous difference in my pain levels. Yesterday, my PT gave me the Graded Motor Imagery Handbook and I’m just devouring it. I’m looking for more book recs.
I also want to read Explain Pain by the same author, and I saw y’all recommend Full Catastrophe Living. Others? Especially fiction about chronic pain.
I recommend Paintracking, which was the first book I read about chronic pain as I was trying to find answers.
Thanks!
